A Week without Glo

My week without my wife.........Ok so she cooked some things for me before she left, but they didn't last the week,no one to talk to so I ate & did laundry.(waited until the last minute to do the dishes) I had Bologna, bologna with cheese,Salami,Salami with cheese, Ramen noodles and then Bologna,Salami with cheese...........more Ramen noodles. I also had a couple of cans of smoked oysters and did go to Sonic one night. I didn't starve, but it really is different not getting up to it all ready for you. The worst thing came when she came home.....Her daughter picked her up because I had to work...She brought her by to see me on their way home.......Boy did I stick my foot in my mouth..just like a man. When I first saw Glo.................I said boy did I miss your cookin. Ah,ah,ah I mean you,boy did I miss you. She said "Old boy that was the wrong thing to say". Got to say she been real good about fixing me meals since she got home even if I did say the wrong thing. Guess she missed me a little too.

Have you ever ???

The term 'piebald', used to identify a whitetail deer with at least one extra splotch of white hair, has an interesting origin. 'Pie' means 'mixed up'; 'bald' means 'having a white spot'.
To a horseman, a 'piebald' is a horse with black and white splotches; one with brown and white splotches actually is known as a 'skewbald'.
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CREATURE!!!!
This is right off County Hwy O in Portage County , just north of Junction City, Texas . This is a piebald deer.

You might say I'm a Redneck

This was the tree in our back yard where I use to hang my deer. Well wife didn't like it to much.City gal. Well it blew down early in the fall....so what's a guy to do???

Well, DAU... you put it in the front tree.....Yes I'm a country boy and a redneck.(you can take the boy out of the country, but its hard to take the country out of the boy) My wife had a fit. I had to clean it real fast........you see we live in town, nice neighbor hood,on a kind of well traveled street. My wife even helped me clean it so we could get it out of the yard a soon a possible. We did it record time. Couldn't have done it with out the little women....hee hee... Now I know how to get her help..... She doesn't like deer, but she will fix it for me.

My Frist Year Home

My wife thought I should do something with my time besides working (honest),hunting and fishing . So I'm going to try blogging, she seems to have so much fun with it and has meet so many nice/new friends The picture above is my son Mikey Jr. he was born or should I say stuffed, while I was in Iraq. DOB 3/14/06 hee hee. My wife is as crazy as I am, that is why we complete each other. We even know what the other is thinking before anything is said.
I couldn't wait to get back to my wife of 19 yrs, hunting, fishing and work (honest i love my job) after being in the Sand box for a year. Of course Glo (my wife) out fished me the first time we went fishing.......still telling me about it. Also had a good year deer hunting. Also had a good /bad year this year......why you ask...got a small doe with bow ( my wife said I shot someones dog) she's so funny, then a 8pt buck and a doe with my rifle..............Then I got my biggest deer with my 2006 F-150 ...OOPS. he was a 10 pt buck about 250 lb....$2300.00 worth and I didn't even find him... the truck is fixed now.
I've worked for Wal-Mart for 19 yrs. and loved it, plan on retiring from there. Then when I got home we started going to a new church. We have a great time there. Made so many new and wonderful friends,it's a real family. I got to do two cookouts for them, about 70 people each time. I love cooking on the grill.
Well I'd better get off now and do something even if it's wrong.....
A big HELLO to all my good buddies I meet in the Army and while in Iraq. Miss you guys.

Love and God bless,
Mike
